Xtreme Audio Covers has created a unique mounting system. On our smaller sizes, you will NOT DRILL ADDITIONAL HOLES to secure your grills. We provide you with the mounting bracket that will cradle your “speaker basket” in between our mounting bracket and our speaker grill. You will then set screw it in on each side to secure. Most people do not want to drill any holes in their boats, cars, sand cars, etc. When the product complete, you will be pleased to find a smooth, clean and tab free finish. Mounting takes about 5 minutes, and worth it not to have to drill holes in your craft. We coat all our mounting hardware to prevent rusting and our set screws are stainless. If you are a salt water boater, we recommend you coat your grills with clear coat or a color. You have the option of powder coating or anodizing any color you would like.
